drama of all time to me...FULLHOUSE

Adorable and sweet, Full House is full of great acting and enjoyable characters and brings to life a wonderful story of endearing relationships which compensate its replica episodes. Most notable is the gorgeous Song Hye Kyo and her unwavering performance as the charismatic Han Ji-eun. Also, the story provides surprisingly likeable characters with each having a crafted purpose to contribute to building the plot. Although the latter episodes begin to tie down the drama with repeated cause-and-affect situations, fans of Song Hye Kyo will not be disappointed with her presentation in Full House.

Adding a fresh character to her works, Song Hye Kyo takes front-and-center stage with her performance as Han Ji-eun. Effortlessly, she is able to put aside her renowned performances of old with an adorable giggle and a vibrant smile that even shines through her eyes. She brings realism to the character showing Ji-eun's aspiration and determination, her laughter and happiness, her foolishness and regret. Undoubtedly, Song Hye Kyo plays this role naturally opposite attractive Bi or Jung Ji-hoon and his fitting performance as Lee Young-jae. Of course, both stars are fortunate to play a part in a drama with well written characters.

The drama is flavored with different types of likeable characters that similarly push the story forward with their foolish actions. First, Ji-eun and Young-jae thoughtlessly enter into a contract marriage even though they obviously loathe each other. Meanwhile, sly-fox Hye-won desperately tries to sustain Young-jae's companionship despite his marriage. Then, deciding to get involved because of the way Young-jae treats his wife, Min-hyuk knowingly risks their friendships and challenges Young-jae's love for Ji-eun. Finally, the top tier of this foolish cake is the surprisingly enjoyable friends of Ji-eun, Dong-wook and Hee-jin. These two continuously give the plot momentum with their hasty chatter and clever lies. All in all, the characters' irrational personalities are balanced with decency and purpose.

Towards the end, the drama slow downs and the foolish love-war relationship between Ji-eun and Young-jae is redundant. Whether she is apologizing for upsetting him and doing the housework to makeup for her actions or he is, the same set up and execution is used for several episodes and begins to get old.

Still, Full House ranks as a must see drama. Song Hye Kyo is a sure hit while the story's characters are easily revered despite their faults. With a little tolerance for excessiveness, viewers can walk away from Full House with hearts full of contentment.

The music of Full House enhances the audience's love for its characters. Songs like Why's 'Unh Myung (translated to 'Fate', track one), Byul's (Star) I think I (track 4), and even Lim Jung Hee's 'Geh Deh Ji Geum' (not featured on OST) beautifully express Young-jae's and Ji-eun's inner struggles. Sung with strong conviction from Young-jae's position, Unh Myung has tender lyrics, "Like a fool, I'm regretting this late…I wished that it wouldn't be you." (KBFD translations) On the other hand, 'Geh Deh Ji Geum' and 'I think I', speaks of the Ji-eun's overwhelming feelings. It is lovely music for a lovely drama.

favourite books also...HOUSE OF NIGHT

House of Night is a thrillingly engaging book series that tell about a 16-year-old Zoey Redbird, who gets “Marked” by a vampyre tracker and begins to undergo the “Change” into an actual vampyre. She has to leave her family in Tulsa and move into the House of Night, a boarding school for other fledglings like her.

It’s within the school’s walls that the heart of the action takes place as Zoey meets new friends, finds love, comes to terms with how her life will be different now and begins to realize her awesome new powers.

Here’s the deal though: Yes, Zoey’s a vampyre now. But she’s still a teenager – with all the humor, angst and confusing feelings any other teenager has.

this series became my favourite accidentally because i bought one of the series, Untamed as i looked at the cover and think that the book cover is beautiful but after i have bought it, i realized that it was the fourth book. so, i have to buy another first three books before i can read the book. but then, i need to buy the latest and latest..until now, i have nine books of this series. lucky that this books is best and interesting that i can't take my eyes of this series. so, i prefer this series!

lord of the ring...another of my favourite movies...

The Lord of the Rings and its precursor, The Hobbit, take place during the Third Age of Middle-Earth. Middle-Earth is a continent on a perpetually medieval fantasy world called Arda, which is filled with magical places, people, and events, and where the forces of Good and Evil vie for dominion. It has always been vague whether Arda is meant to be our "real" world in its prehistory, but I for one prefer to think of it in wholly imaginary terms. The confusion probably stems from the amount of detail and realism that Tolkien puts into the story, in terms of things like weather, climate, geography, and even phases of the moon. The history of Middle-Earth is broken up into four eras, aptly called the Four Ages.

During the First Age, the immortal Elves, the first Children of Ilúvatar (aka. Eru, "the One"... God, basically), awoke by the shores of Cuiviénen in Middle-Earth. Shortly thereafter, they were summoned to Valinor, the Blessed Realm, by the Valar. The Valar are akin to gods in the mythological sense, although they are rarely explicitly called such. In fact, in the creation story of Arda, their role is closer to archangels—witnesses and participants in creation rather than originators. In any case, the Valar pretty much run the show on Arda for old Ilúvatar. Those Elves who made the journey to Valinor (which is located across the western sea from Middle-Earth) became known as the Eldar, or High Elves, while those who remained in Middle-Earth became known as the Sindar, or Elves of the Twilight.

In Valinor, the Eldar learned many arts and crafts from the Valar (but don't think they became a bunch of Martha Stewarts). The greatest of the Eldar was Fëanor, who created three gems of surpassing beauty known as the Silmarils. However, the Silmarils were stolen by an evil Vala called Morgoth, the Dark Enemy of the World, who fled with them to Middle-Earth. Fëanor and a great number of his kinsmen vowed to pursue Morgoth and recover the Silmarils. Upon returning to Middle-Earth, the Eldar discovered that Mortal Men (aka. "Men"), the Second Children of Ilúvatar, had come into the world. Over the following centuries, the Elves and Men battled the forces of Morgoth (consisting of such vile creatures as orcs, trolls, and dragons), but failed to recover the Silmarils. Finally, Beren (a Man) and Lúthien Tinúviel (an Elf maiden) ventured into Morgoth's stronghold of Angband and stole one of the Silmarils from the evil Lord's crown. The great-grandson of Beren and Lúthien was Eärendil the Mariner, who sailed to Valinor to beg the Valar to take up arms against Morgoth. The First Age of Middle-Earth came to an end when Angband was cast down, much of the continent was submerged, and Morgoth himself was bound by the Valar for all eternity. All of this and more is related in detail in The Silmarillion, another fine book.

The Second Age was the time of Númenor, a great island kingdom of Men that lay within sight of Valinor itself. Eärendil had two sons, Elrond and Elros, the Peredhil (Half-Elven). Elrond chose to follow the path of immortal Elvenkind, while Elros chose to live out his life as a Mortal Man (albeit a long-lived one). Elros became the first king of Númenor. Back in Middle-Earth, in the land of Eregion, Elven smiths (led by Celebrimbor, grandson of Fëanor) began forging the Rings of Power, talismans that gave their wearers great supernatural abilities (not the least of which was invisibility). The Elves were unwittingly assisted in their efforts by Sauron, formerly the chief lieutenant of Morgoth. When the Elves had finished their labors, Sauron forged the Ruling Ring in the fires of Mt. Doom. The One Ring gave Sauron dominion over the others, causing them to be corrupted to his service. Only the Three Rings of the Elves remained free, having been forged by Celebrimbor alone, but even they could not be used without Sauron knowing about it. So for a time, the Elf lords set aside their Rings. The forging of the One Ring revealed Sauron's true nature to the Elves, who declared war upon him. The Dark Lord took the fortified land of Mordor to be his stronghold.

Meanwhile, the descendents of Elros, the Edain, became mighty kings among Mankind. The Númenóreans were powerful and just, but eventually came to envy the immortality of the Elves. This left them vulnerable to the lies and deceptions of Sauron. Through Sauron's treachery, Númenor was destroyed and sank beneath the sea. Only a handful of the Edain, led by the noble Elendil and his sons, Isuldur and Anárion, survived the destruction by sailing to Middle-Earth. There, Elendil established a kingdom in the North called Arnor, while Isuldur and Anárion established the kingdom of Gondor in the south. Sauron was believed to have been destroyed in the downfall of Númenor, but in fact, his spirit had survived and returned to Mordor. While the One Ring existed, he could not be utterly destroyed. However, he was no longer able to take on a benevolent appearance.

To combat Sauron's evil, Elendil joined forces with Gil-galad, last of the kings of the Eldar. Together, the forces of the Last Alliance of Elves and Men were able to storm Mordor, driving Sauron's forces before them. Elendil and Gil-galad were slain, but Isuldur cut the Ring from Sauron's hand, breaking his father's sword in the process. Sauron was not killed, however, because Isuldur kept the Ring for himself, rather than destroying it. The first defeat of Sauron signaled the end of the Second Age of Middle-Earth.

While on his way home from the war, Isuldur was ambushed by a company of orcs. He attempted to use the Ring's power of invisibility to escape, but it slipped from his finger while he was swimming across the Anduin river. Now visible, he was slain by an orc's arrow. The Ring lay at the bottom of the river for centuries, until it was accidentally found by two friends, Déagol and Sméagol. Sméagol promptly murdered Déagol and took the Ring for himself. He used his newfound invisibility for thieving and learning secrets. He was reviled by his people, who called him "Gollum," due to his peculiar habit of making gurgling noises in his throat. Eventually getting fed up with this abuse, Sméagol decided to leave home and made his way into the caverns beneath the Misty Mountains, where he thought he could learn the secrets of the world's making. This was in the year 2470 of the Third Age of Middle-Earth.

titanic...an epic love story...

My favorite movie is Titanic, and I’m not ashamed to admit it. After all, Titanic is tied for most Oscar nominations (14) and most Oscar wins (11). And let’s not forget that even now, 12 years later, it is still the highest-grossing film of all time. I consider these bits of information to be pretty good proof that Titanic is not the cheesy film that many claim it is. However, I’ve found that for many a Titanic-hater these facts are not enough.
So let me explain the true magic of Titanic. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it in theatres when I was 8 years old. I ended up seeing it in theatres a total of 3 times, and I bought it on VHS as soon as it was released. When I was in high school and my parents got rid of our last TV with a VHS player, I bought in on DVD. I watch all 3 hours of the movie every few months, and every time is just as amazing as when I first saw it on the big screen at 8.
Of course every time I watch it I realize the ship is going to sink and Jack is going to die in the end. But even knowing this information I always spend the second half of the movie hoping that everything will be different this time, and then when it isn’t, I feel as crushed as I did the first time I saw the ending. Then I usually spend the last 30 minutes of the movie and a good 15 once it’s over sobbing.
Now, for me, that’s what a good movie has to do. It has to make you feel things just as strongly every time you watch it. Now I don’t know if Titanic does that for everyone (and apparently it doesn’t since so many people make fun of my undying love for it), but it does it for me. So yeah, Titanic is my favorite movie. It has been for 12 years, and it probably will be until I’m as old as Rose when she threw the Hope Diamond into the Atlantic.

...dream...

Dream is held in the area of our mind when we are asleep. It happens to all. Often, dream is helpful. A mathematician often gets the right method to -solve a difficult sum in his dream. Some people feel that they are taking delicious dish and sweet fruits in their dream. Sometimes a very interesting drama is enacted in our dream and that makes us laugh in our deep sleep. Sometimes we also cry due to the influence of a tragic dream.
Dreams may be real or imaginary. When we think about a thing or an event very much in our practical life, a dream concerning that thing or that event touches our subconscious mind in our slumber.
Once I had a dream about a strange animal. In my dream I was walking through a desert. I met an animal. I had not seen that animal before. When it came to me, I asked him his name. He said that his name was dinosaur. Still I could not believe my eyes. Because dinosaurs as a species are already extinct from the world. It was a baby dinosaur. So it did not harm me.
Then I took care of the baby dinosaur. It grew up. It became my friend. It was indeed an admirable friendship. Once a drought affected our locality. We got little rain. There was no crop. People were starving. The dinosaur also could not get water and food. Still it did not break the friendship. It went wherever I went.
One day it narrated its sufferings and cried. I realised that the dinosaur was really on the verge of death. But I was helpless. It was a desert where water was impossible to be found. After a moment, the dinosaur forgot the friendship and began to yawn. He tried to satisfy his hunger by swallowing me. I was afraid of the large mouth of the dinosaur. Then I began to run and save my life. The dinosaur too ran after me. I shouted for help. Then my mother woke up and splashed water on me. I got up. The dream was suddenly broken. At that time I was sweating and trembling. My mother said that it was only a dream. Then I resumed my sense and realised that I was just dreaming.
This dream as imaginary. The next evening, we saw the film "The Jurassic Park" and through it I got rid of my fear of the dinosaur which is really a dead species. I told my friends all about my dream. They laughed and enjoyed it. When my father heard it, he commented that scientists in the world are trying their best to create a living dinosaur again. If dinosaur will reappear, it will create a great danger to human existence on the earth.
The dream was really very interesting. I tried to dream the same story again, but I was unsuccessful

one of my favourite writer...J.K. ROWLING

J. K. (Jo) Rowling was born in 1965 and moved house twice when she was growing up. The first move was from Yate (just outside Bristol) to Winterbourne. The second move was when Jo was nine and she moved to Tutshill near Chepstow in the Forest of Dean.
Jo went to Tutshill Primary School, and then on to Wyedean Comprehensive. She was quiet, freckly, short-sighted and not very good at sports. She even broke her arm playing netball. Her favourite subject by far was English, but she also liked languages . . .

She always loved writing more than anything. ‘The first story that I ever wrote down, when I was five or six, was about a rabbit called Rabbit. He got the measles and was visited by his friends, including a giant bee called Miss Bee. And ever since Rabbit and Miss Bee, I have wanted to be a writer, though I rarely told anyone so. I was afraid they’d tell me I didn’t have a hope.’ At school she would entertain her friends at lunchtime with stories.

After school, Jo attended the University of Exeter in Devon where she studied French. Her parents hoped that by studying languages she would enjoy a great career as a bilingual secretary. But Jo recalls that she never paid much attention in meetings because she was too busy scribbling down ideas.
When she was 25, Jo was delayed on a train from Manchester to London. On the train Jo says that the idea for Harry Potter simply ‘strolled into her head fully formed’. But she didn’t have a pen so couldn’t write all her thoughts down! But the idea had taken hold and during the next five years she started writing and outlining the plots for each book.

Jo went to Portugal to teach English. There she married and her daughter Jessica was born. And she kept writing. When she returned to the UK, Jo had a suitcase full of stories about Harry Potter. She moved to Edinburgh with her young daughter and worked as a French teacher. In 1996 Bloomsbury offered to publish Jo’s first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

‘The moment I found out that Harry would be published was one of the best of my life,’ says Jo.

She has married Dr Neil Murray in 2001, and a brother for Jessica, David, was born in 2003. A sister, Mackenzie, followed in January 2005. She lives with her family in Edinburgh.

The Harry Potter novels have now sold approximately 450 million copies worldwide and been translated into 72 languages. Jo was the first children’s author to be voted the BA Author of the Year, and also to win the British Book Awards Author of the Year. I admired her so much..
